My Design for Everyman is an unrealized class project that I presented at the Region 5 KCACTF Festival in 2023 and received the Sharon Sobel Honorable Mention for Costume Design.
Every man is an allegorical play that I wanted to design with an out of time and ethereal. I took inspiration from satirical cartoons and the large exaggerations that they have. I wanted it to be bright and colorful with each character fitting together yet having their own distinctive qualities. The designs focus on the stereotypes and connotations of the names and using them to exaggerate features. For this concept, Everyman would be the only male presenting character and the rest of them are female presenting to help drive the distance between the human and inhuman.
